Petitgrain Essential Oil, Citrus aurantium, is enjoyed within perfumery for its light, fresh, floral citrus aroma. Petitgrain Oil is extracted from the leaves of the bitter orange tree. Petitgrain is calming and uplifting and can help with depression. It helps relax the mind and acts is mildly sedating. Petitgrain Essential Oil is also good for relieving stress and anxiety. It blends well with so many other oils, but most notably with clary sage, ylang ylang, sandalwood and rosewood.
